Creamy Blended Avocado Lime Dressing

Print Recipe
So thick you could use it as a dip. So creamy, it turns a chopped salad into a treat! This blended avocado lime dressing is super simple (but never bland!) with tangy lime and just a hint of cumin…but no cilantro, because I know not everyone likes it!

Equipment

  • immersion blender or bullet blender

Ingredients

  • 1 medium ripe avocado
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil or other neutral oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ - 1 teaspoon maple syrup to taste

If needed, to thin

  • avocado oil or more lime juice, if it could use brightening!

Instructions

  • Blend everything in a bullet blender, or wide mouthed jar with an immersion blender, until creamy, about 30 seconds.
  • Taste and adjust maple syrup or salt if needed.
  • I designed this dressing to be thick for chopped or kale salads, but you can thin it out for lettuce salads, just don't use water!

Notes

Adding too much water will make the dressing super bland...I definitely recommend using oil!
