Strawberries and Cream Smoothie with White Beans

This thick and creamy strawberry smoothie tastes like a dream thanks to my secret ingredient: white beans! They add a boost of protein and gut-friendly fibre to this not-too-sweet smoothie: 16 grams of protein and 13 grams of fibre to be exact!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups ripe strawberries fresh or frozen
  • ½ medium banana
  • ½ cup navy beans or cannellini beans, use no salt added!
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • tiny pinch salt
  • 1 cup soy milk or other high protein milk

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth!

Notes

Hot tip!! If you need more than 16g protein in a meal, just boost this with some protein powder...
