Whole grains deserve all the credit they get. High in fibre and fermentable FODMAPs to boost gut health, farro is an ancient wheat that has a nutty flavour, and chewy texture to create satisfying and nutrient-dense meals the whole family will enjoy. Farro is a high fiber food, with 6 grams of fibre per quarter cup dry measure. It’s also suprisingly high in plant-based protein, with 5 grams per 1/4 cup as well as being iron rich. 

Delicious as a simple side dish like this farro pesto pilaf, or dressed up for a hearty farro salad with arugula, get more farro into your rotation!
