Almond flour

Almond flour, also called almond meal, is one of my favourite naturally gluten free flours to work with, because it has a slightly sweet, yet neutral flavour and creates a moist, tender crumb. It’s also a great option to increase plant-based protein in your recipes, with about 6 grams of protein per 1/4 cup (60 mL) serving. I love using almond meal to create nutrient-dense and healthy recipes, like these vegan blueberry muffins, these gluten-free blueberry scones, and these vegan shortbread cookies!
